paris snapshots: les halles at night

In Berlin gibt es überall Baustellen und ständig ändert sich alles. Wenn man nach Paris zurück kommt, hat man eigentlich immer dieses schöne Gefühl, sich gleich wieder zurecht zu finden, weil sich selten etwas dramatisch ändert. 

Mittendrin am Verkehrsknotenpunkt Châtelet/Les Halles ist das durchaus anders. Aus dem großen Markt ist ein futuristisches Etwas gewachsen und als ich Paris verließ, gab es wieder eine große Baustelle. Jetzt sieht man langsam etwas Neues wachsen... ich bin gespannt, wie das am Ende aussehen wird.

In Berlin you have building sites everywhere you go and everything changes all the time. When you're coming back to Paris you usually have the nice feeling of immediately knowing your way around because everything stays pretty much the same.

In the middle of the city at Châtelet/Les Halles this is a little different. The huge food market has turned into something modern (Forum Les Halles) and when i left Paris there was a new building site. Now you can see the first big changes... i'm curious to know how this is going to turn out in the end.
