Wir sind jetzt beim letzten Aussichtsturm der Reise angekommen und der Tokyo Tower war eigentlich auch mein liebster... hier waren wir ziemlich spät am Abend und kamen in den Genuss von Animationen im Inneren (an den Fensterscheiben), schöner Musik und einer heiter gelassenen, gemütlichen Stimmung. Auch das Aussehen des Turms an sich fand ich wirklich schön - vielleicht lag's ein bisschen an der nahe liegenden Assoziation mit dem Eiffelturm, aber die schon die Farben sind erfrischend. Ich fand's einfach irgendwie magisch... 

Fans von "One Piece" sollten übrigens auf jeden Fall hier her kommen, um nach Herzenslust zu shoppen, im Erlebnisrestaurant zu speisen, die Shows zu sehen und einfach in diese Welt einzutauchen.

We've reached the last observation tower of our journey and the Tokyo Tower was actually my favorite... we went there rather late in the evening and enjoyed some animation inside (on the windows), nice music and an overall serene, relaxed, cozy atmosphere. I also really liked the look of the tower itself - maybe because it reminds me of the Eiffel tower but just the colors alone are refreshing. The whole visit felt a little magical to me...

Fans of "One Piece" should definitely visit to shop, eat, watch shows and just completely dive into the world of "One Piece".

Seit Anfang diesen Jahres gibt es eine japanische Bäckerei in Berlin und, nachdem ich sie beim Kirschblütenfest entdeckt hatte, musste ich sie mir natürlich anschauen... mit Tine gab's deshalb auch ausnahmsweise kein Burger-Date, sondern eins mit Kuchen.

Der Laden ist noch relativ neu, aber schon sehr hübsch. Ich mag dieses einfache, aber schicke Design. Die beiden Cheesecake-Sorten Matcha und Yuzu waren ein Träumchen. Sehr, sehr lecker! Der Matcha Latte war genauso super und auch die anderen süßen und herzhaften Angebote können sich sehen lassen. Kein Wunder, dass ich kurze Zeit später auch mit Arnaud dort war, der sich ebenso in den Cheesecake verliebte...

Since the beginning of this year there is a Japanese bakery in Berlin and after having discovered this at the cherry blossom festival i just h-a-d to have a look... that's why i skipped the usual burger date with Tine and had a cake one instead.

The store is relatively new but already put together with a simple beauty that i really like. Both their Matcha and Yuzu cheesecakes were just delicious. So, so yummy! The Matcha Latte was fine as well and the other sweet and savory offers are really good, too. I just had to go back again with Arnaud and he fell in love with the cheesecake as well...

green snapshots: tillandsia

Mein Daumen ist immer noch nicht richtig grün, aber Pflanzen habe ich trotzdem gern um mich. Durch Fee (Fee ist mein Name>>>) bin ich auf Tillandsien (Luftpflanzen) aufmerksam geworden und jetzt sind sie endlich auch bei mir eingezogen. Es gibt ziemlich viele Unterarten, deren Namen ich mir nicht wirklich merken kann. Siebkopf. Ich finde sie aber einfach furchtbar hübsch und hoffe, dass sie gut bei mir durchhalten... 

My thumb is still not really green but i really love to have plants around me. Fee (from Fee ist mein Name >>>) brought my attention to Tillandsia and finally some of them moved in with me. There are tons of different kinds and i just can't remember all their names. Scatter brain. They're simply really beautiful and i hope that they'll survive here...

a dream coming true... my new olympus camera

Vor einiger Zeit konnte ich beim Olympus Playground in Berlin mit einer schicken Kamera spielen und es war um mich geschehen... seit dieser Zeit schwebte die Kamera durch meinen Kopf. Bei meinem Treffen mit Fee im letzten Jahr ließ ich mir auch gleich noch die Vorzüge anhand ihres Modells erklären. Jetzt für den Japan-Urlaub beschlossen Arnaud und ich, dass es schade wäre, so einen schicken Urlaub nur durchschnittlich schön zu dokumentieren und dass nun endlisch Schluss sein müsste mit dem Aufschieben. Also: Augen zu und durch! 

Ich könnte glücklicher nicht sein. Selbst wenn ich noch viel im Umgang mit diesem (für mich schon) professionellen Gerät lernen muss, bekommt man schon im Automatik-Modus (den ich aber jetzt schon eher selten verwende) hinreißende Bilder. Ich freue mich wahnsinnig, die Kamera (übrigens om-d em 10 mark ii) im Urlaub richtig auszutesten und hoffe, dass euch die neue Bilder-Qualität genauso gefallen wird...

Some time ago i was able to have fun with a nice camera while at the Olympus Playground in Berlin... and i fell in love. I just couldn't get it out of my head. When i met Fee last year she explained all the advantages of this camera to me and let me examine her model. Now we're travelling to Japan Arnaud and i decided it would be sad to document this nice vacation with my average small camera and that i should stop delaying to buy it. Well: grit your teeth and get to it!

I couldn't be happier. Even though there's still a lot to learn in dealing with this (for me) professional equipment, the photos taken in Auto-Mode (that i already use less and less) are already gorgeous. I am really looking forward to further testing my camera (a om-d em 10 mark ii btw) during the trip and i hope you're having just as much fun with the new photo quality...
