Wenn man die Mittagspause ein wenig nach hinten verschiebt, findet man sich (unter der Woche) in angenehm geleerten Restaurants wieder und kann trotzdem noch von Mittagsmenüs profitieren. Genau das ist im "Glory Duck" passiert - eine große Gruppe beglich gerade ihre Rechnung als ich mich an meinem Tisch niederließ.
Die zum Menü gehörige Tagessuppe war sehr lecker, auch wenn ich unsicher bin, was ich da genau gegessen habe. Der Reis, die Ente, das Gemüse - auch beim Hauptgang war alles schmackhaft. Netten zurückhaltenden Service gab's obendrauf. Ich hätte mir für den Preis eine größere Portion gewünscht, war aber ansonsten ganz zufrieden.
When you're delaying your lunch break just by a little bit, you're able to eat in quite empty restaurants (which i enjoy for my breaks) and are still able to have the special lunch packages. That's exactly what happened at "Glory Duck" - a huge group was just leaving when i sat down at my table.
I started off with the daily soup which was tasty, although i have no idea what exactly it contained. The rice, the duck, the veggies - the main course was delicious as well. The nice service was a pleasant bonus. I think i'd have preferred bigger portions for what i paid but otherwise i was quite happy with my visit.
