Ja, mit dem Tag der Blumenindustrie und der Schokoladenherzen kann ich wirklich wenig anfangen. Die Geschichte vom Namensgeber (oder eher "die Geschichten" - es gibt ja mehr als einen Heiligen Valentin) finde ich zwar irgendwie schön, aber das ist für mich kein Grund, an nur einem bestimmten Tag jemandem zu zeigen, dass ich ihn/sie mag oder sogar liebe... mein Valentin ist heute ein ganz anderer... der macht zwar Krach, hat mich aber wirklich amüsiert, als ich ihm heute auf der Straße begegnet bin!
Yes, i do not really care about the day of the flower industry and the chocolate hearts. The story about the saint that gave the name (or "stories" as there is more than one Saint Valentine) is quite nice but there is no reason to show my affection for somebody only on one single day... my Valentine is therefor a different one... he is a bit noisy but put a huge smile on my face when i met him today on the street!
