Somehow it seems to be difficult for me to find new nice partners for my language exchange. I already had the pleasure of "second dates" with Lucy* and Chloé* and i stopped sending messages to find new people on this platform. Jean* also wrote to me but i am still thinking about a nice way of saying "no, thank you". Ideas anyone???
Well, now here comes Valérie*. She had sent me a message and we met on a rainy day in the Marais. Really nice quarter... It seemed i was not awake yet but i already have my little routine in putting my notebook and dictionary on the table. She made a rather passive impression on me. We talked first in French and then in German but after a while we switched to English completely. She is an interesting person, looking Asian, having Danish parents, being raised in Paris. As she currently changes careers from confectioner to therapist - which means going back to school - she has time for her hobbies and this language exchange. Nice girl... but somehow this special something was missing between us... i guess this won´t work.
