nara snapshots: oh, deer!

If you've always been dreaming about a deer bowing before you, you should definitely consider a trip to Japan. Nara was the first place where i came across this and it's quite exciting to have those animals closely around you almost all the time... of course Nara's mascot is a deer as well (oh, the thing with mascots - maybe i should write a post only about those?!). The animals seem tame but are still wild and should be treated as such. There are special treats that you can buy to feed them - otherwise they like attacking anything that's looking tasty (like our Lonely Planet for example)...
