Im November gibt es nun tatsächlich mal wieder einiges, was ich mir angesehen habe... das Regengrau eignet sich einfach hervorragend für eine eingekuschelte Filmvorstellung im Wohnzimmer. Um die Menge ein wenig übersichtlicher zu gestalten, unterteile ich allerdings mal in zwei Posts.
Dieses Mal dürfen wir sogar einen deutschen Film begrüßen! "Oh, Boy!" spielt in Berlin und war daher natürlich besonders reizvoll. Tom Schilling wandert durch Berlins Straßen und sucht seinen Platz zwischen den anderen merkwürdigen Gestalten der Stadt. Ein sehr sehenswerter Film in schwarz-weiß.
"Star Trek - Into Darkness" kann da leider nicht mithalten. Auch "Iron Man Three" hat neben Explosionen nicht wirklich viel bieten können. Einen mittelmäßigen Comic kann man anscheinend doch nicht zu einem besseren Film machen. Dead Man Down hingegen war überraschenderweise unterhaltsam. Bei Colin Farrell weiß man ja nie so richtig, was draus wird.
In November there are at last some more movies i have been watching... the gray rainy weather just makes for the best atmosphere while cuddling up in your living room cinema. I decided to split the post in two, trying not to bore you with my never-ending ranting.

Niko has given up studying and has no job. We follow him through one day and one night in his life while he aimlessly wanders through Berlin. He's meeting a lot of different people on his way and it seems he just can't get a coffee.
This is a movie well worth seeing. I like the black&white, the cast and how well everything fits with Berlin's flow.

After an attack on a Star Fleet meeting Captain Kirk persues the attacker Harrison who is hiding deep within the Klingon territory. 72 long-range protoptype photon torepedos are with him and his crew...
It is really tough to sum everything up without any spoilers. There's a lot of well-entertaining action but maybe i expected too much to say it is brilliant. Could have been better.

This time Tony is fighting a super-terrorist who seems to have no boundaries. The Mandarin even destroys his home, forcing Tony to work with what he's got... his ingenuity.
Well, i was already disappointed by the second Iron Man movie but the third looks a little worse even. The action is alright and it is rather entertaining but you should not expect anything of the story. Maybe a weak comic really does no good as a movie.

Victor has successfully made his way into a criminal empire run by ruthless Alphonse when he meets his neighbour Beatrice. She seeks revenge and she wants Victor to handle things. Soon she discovers revenge is what he's after as well.
I was surprised. I never know what to expect with Farrell but found the twisted plot quite entertaining. The movie is well-paced and though there are several weaknesses it is not a bad film to watch.
Oh Boy will ich mir auch bald ansehen, hab ihn um Weihnachten herum irgendwo im Fernsehprogramm entdeckt (ich glaube, auf Sky..). Die nächsten Zwei habe ich zwar gesehen, aber allzu viel ist auch nicht hängen geblieben, woraus man wohl auch seine Schlüsse ziehen kann...
AntwortenLöschenUnd Colin Farrell ist nicht so mein Fall. War er noch nie, aber seit in ein bestimmtes Buch gelesen habe, in dem er, wenn auch nicht mit Namen, vorkommt, kann ich mit ihm so gar nicht.... (Das Buch war übrigens Your Voice in my Head und er ist der "Gypsy Husband")
Ich glaube "Oh Boy" ist mir zu schlau :D

Iron Man 3 ist natürlich ein Muss :) Da erwarte ich aber auch nicht viel mehr als flotte Sprüche ;)
keine sorge, Alice... hochintellektuell ist "oh, boy!" nicht ;)
