rotz

{ ?! }

Als ich dieses Restaurant zum ersten Mal beim vorbeifahren erblickte, schüttelte ich ungläubig den Kopf... hatte ich richtig gelesen??? Hieß das wirklich so??? Beim nächsten Spaziergang durch diese Gegend musste ich also knipsen. Was für ein Spaß! Mein Fotografieren wurde allerdings schnell bemerkt und der Besitzer/ Oberkellner/ Koch / ? forderte mich auf reinzukommen. Ich grinste nur breit und dachte mir, dass ich dem netten Herrn lieber nicht erkläre, warum ich auf diese Art von Delikatessen wohl besser verzichten sollte.

When I first saw this restaurant ("Rotz" means something like "glanders" or "snot" in German) i could not believe it... did i really read the sign correctly? Was this the real name of the place? When i returned to this area of Paris for another stroll, i had to take pictures. As i was taking a lot of them, i did not stay unnoticed for long and the owner / waiter / cook / ? came out and asked me to get inside and try the food. I gave him a huge grin and thought that i better not start explaining why i would prefer to do without this kind of food.
