lars et le vendredi #36

Es herbstelt und ich merke schon, dass ich mich mehr anstrengen muss, um auch ein Freitagsfoto zu knipsen. Heute gibt es deshalb nur etwas dunkel Verwackeltes.

Im Jazzclub Schlot (auch Kunstfabrik Schlot) gibt Lars Redlich regelmäßig gratis Vorstellungen ("Eintritt frei & Austritt mit Spende") und genau so eine habe ich diese Woche besucht. Lars mag vorhersehbare (und zwischendurch auch eher unlustige) Witze und vor allem sich selbst außerordentlich (sehr!). Dazu ist er allerdings ziemlich musikalisch und hat ein paar Aha-Momente in seine Show eingebaut, die ihn durchaus sympathisch wirken lassen. "Lars but not Least" ließ mich zwischen Stirnrunzeln, Kichern und ungläubigem Glotzen schwanken. Euphorisch war ich am Ende "nur", als Lars sein Können als "Live-Jukebox" präsentierte. Manchmal hat's auch wirklich Spaß gemacht und ich überlege, mir vielleicht doch noch eine Show anzusehen - ist ja gratis...

Lars Redlich, a German singer/comedian/actor, offers free (donations welcome) performances of his show "Lars but not Least" once a month at the Jazzclub Schlot, Berlin. He likes predictable (and sometimes even not funny) jokes and most of all himself (a lot). Luckily he's also a really talented musician and thought of some nice (almost self ironic) twists in his show that make him seem like a nice guy. I was constantly between frowning, giggling and disbelievingly glaring. Only the end caught me offguard and i found myself being happy while Lars prentended to be a human jukebox. It was a fun evening and i'm even considering another visit - it's free after all...
