concarneau (konk-kerne)

When we started our trip to Concarneau i was happily excited. We were going to see the site of a book! I liked reading Bannalec's "Death in Pont-Aven" and as Arnaud's parents are originally from Britanny (Finistère, Bretagne) i was already looking forward to seeing the places mentioned in the book. I only had to wait two years... This novel is mainly set in Pont-Aven that we visited as well - i'll tell you more about it in another post. The medieval Ville Close is especially worth seeing. It is surrounded by massive walls and water. Very touristy but lovely!
