{internationaler frauentag 2014}

Dieses Jahr wurde von der UN das Motto "Gleichberechtigung für Frauen bedeutet Fortschritt für alle" für den Internationalen Frauentag ausgerufen... eine ganze Weile dachte ich, dass Gleichberechtigung doch gar kein Thema mehr sei, dass wir gesellschaftlich schon angekommen sind. Auch ohne eine "Emanze" oder "Power-Feministin" zu sein, sieht man aber leider, dass dem nicht so ist. Aus diesem Grund finde ich einen Frauentag immer noch wichtig, um auf bestimmte Themen aufmerksam zu machen... ich wünsche euch also einen schönen Frauentag und bin neugierig, was euch heute besonders beschäftigt!

This year the UN provided the motto "equality for women means progress for all" to celebrate the international women's day... for a long time i'd been thinking that equality should not be a big issue anymore, that we've reached it in our society. Even without being a "power feminist" or "bra burner" you'll notice that this is not the case. That's why i think women's day is still important to talk about certain issues, to create awareness... i wish you all a nice women's day and i am curious which topics are especially important to you today!
