le plus beau jour commence...

{der beste tag beginnt...}

Ich habe den schönsten Tag im Leben eines Brautpaares erleben dürfen... und nicht nur ihr "ja" zueinander gehört, sondern auch ein "ja" bekommen, darüber zu bloggen. Bei dieser Hochzeit habe ich nun nicht den Fehler begangen, mich mit dem Fotografieren zurückzuhalten (hat auch sonst keiner der Gäste gemacht) und so habe ich unheimlich viel "Material". Daher habe ich beschlossen, diesen Tag auf mehrere Posts aufzuteilen, und hoffe, dass ihr mit so viel Begeisterung mitlest wie ich mitgefeiert habe!

Da Arnaud einer der Trauzeugen des Bräutigams war, ging es zuerst mit einem anderen Trauzeugen zum (erstaunlich ruhigen) Bräutigam und seinen Eltern in den Norden Frankreichs. Alle waren sehr entspannt in den Vorbereitungen (was man wohl auf Brautseite nicht behaupten kann - als Frau hat man ja doch mehr zu tun) und gemeinsam machten wir uns dann gen Standesamt (Rathaus) auf. Dort warteten wir mit anderen Gästen auf das Eintreffen der Braut. Was für ein Auftritt! (Tadaaa??? Nee, noch nicht! Morgen geht´s weiter!)

I was able to share the most beautiful day of a bride and groom… and in addition to their “yes” for one another I got their “yes” for blogging about it! During this wedding I did not make the mistake of taking not enough pictures again (none of the other guests did) and so I have a lot of “material”. I therefore decided to split the day into several posts and hope that you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed celebrating!

As Arnaud was one of the best men of the groom we first went to him and his parents with another best man to the north of France. Everyone was rather relaxed with the preparations (maybe there was going on more on the side of the bride – which is normal for girls I guess). Together we went to the city hall and were waiting with the other guests for the bride to arrive. What an entrance that was! (Dadaaaa!! nope, not yet! See you tomorrow!)
