"The actress" hat uns verlassen... und das Arbeitsleben geht doch weiter. Es wird fleißig nach Ersatz für all die Verflossenen gesucht und man konnte schon einige aufgeregte Gesichter im "Chef"-Zimmer verschwinden sehen. Nächste Woche soll da auch jemand neu anfangen... ich bin gespannt.

Heute stelle ich eine weitere Kollegin vor, die schon sehr lange da ist. Sie gehört zu den "Älteren" und ist wegen ihres Mannes nach Paris gekommen. Dass sie den im Internet kennen gelernt hat, konnte ich nach dem ersten Eindruck wirklich nicht glauben... aber das liegt vielleicht daran, dass "Blaugelb" (fast) alle Freundlichkeit vor der Tür lässt, wenn sie ins Büro kommt. Ihr Umgangston ist ziemlich schroff und selbst die direkte Vorgesetzte muss da manchmal durch Wortgefechte. 

"Blaugelb" hat in Deutschland studiert, kommt aber eigentlich aus der Ukraine. Das erklärt einiges, denn sie entspricht vielen Klischees. Ihre Haare färbt sie blond - und das macht sie selbst, weil die Friseure in Frankreich viel zu teuer sind und sowieso keine Ahnung vom richtigen Färben haben. Sie trägt mit Vorliebe kurze Röcke und ihr Make-Up passt immer zur Farbe ihrer Kleidung. Im Winter kam sie natürlich im Pelz. Eine wenig unauffällige Designer-Uhr schmückt ihr Handgelenk und jede ihrer Taschen hat ein großes Logo. Ihr "Tschuuusss!", wenn sie geht, ist hier fast legendär und wird besonders von Foufou gern laut wiederholt. An ihrem Deutsch muss sie also manchmal noch arbeiten, aber fürs Französisch besucht sie jetzt einen Kurs.

"The actress" left us... but the work life continues. The diligent work for replacements is in progress and one could already see some nervous faces vanishing in the "boss" office. Somebody new is supposed to start next week... i am curious.

Today i want to introduce another co-worker that has been there for quite a while. She belongs to the "older" ones and came to Paris for her husband. That she met him via internet was someting i almost could not believe... but maybe that is due to the fact that she leaves (almost) all friendliness outside the office door. Her tone is very harsh and even her superior sometimes has to go through word battles.

"Blueyellow" has studied in Germany but originally comes from Ukraine. That explains a lot as she represents a lot of stereotypes. She dyes her hair blonde - and of course she does it on her own, because the French hairdressers are too expensive and have no idea how to do the job properly. She loves to wear short skirts and her makeup always corresponds with the colour of her clothes. During winter she was wearing a fur coat of course. Her watch is really not unobtrusive and is as big as the logos on her designer bags. Her "tschuuuusss" (=tschüß = German for bye) is almost legendary here and foufou loves to repeat it loudly. There still is some work to do on her German but for her French she started attending a course.
