In der Nähe der Bastille, in der berühmten Straße des Durstes (eigentlich: Rue de Lappe, umgsprl. Rue de la Soif), waren wir zusammen mit Aurélien. Wer junge Menschenmengen und Cocktails mag ist hier genau richtig. Die Preise sind allerdings oft relativ saftig, sodass man am besten die HappyHour nutzen sollte. Gut, dass wir "nur" essen wollten.
Das "Les Sans Culotte" (was ein Name!) ist relativ gemütlich, aber die übliche Enge in Pariser Restaurants war hier doch ein wenig störend. Nun gut, Gelegenheit, die Tischnachbarn zu belauschen... das Essen war durchwachsen, aber gut... hier kommt es wohl sehr auf die Wahl an, die man trifft. Denn mit mindestens zwei von drei Gängen war jeder von uns zufrieden. Mein absoluter Favorit kam zum Schluss - ein sehr leckerer und liebevoll gemachter Café Gourmand. Guter Abschluss!
Together with Aurélien we went to the famous street of thirst (Rue de Lappe, colloquial "Rue de la Soif"), near Bastille. For those who like crowds of young people and cocktails - this is the place to be. The prizes are a bit high though, so make sure you start at the HappyHour. Fortunately we "just" wanted to eat.
The "Les Sans Culotte" (what a name!) is rather cozy but the usual narrowness of Parisian restaurants was a bit disturbing. Alright, a chance to listen to the other guests... the food was not too bad but you had to make the right choices. Everyone of us was happy with two out of three courses. My absolute favourite came at the end - a delicious and lovingly made Café Gourmand. Nice finish!
